The following is for crimes reported from March 15 to March 29. This report is compiled from information provided by the 14th Police District. (Some crimes that occurred on dates earlier than the current period but weren’t reported until later may be included.)

March 14. Vandalism of property. Theft from motor vehicle. A complainant parked her car in the unit block of Valley Green Road. When she returned her rear window was broken. Her bag containing an iPhone, keys, and more than $300 worth of goods were stolen.

The following is for crimes reported from March 15 to March 29. This report is compiled from information provided by the 14th Police District. (Some crimes that occurred on dates earlier than the current period but weren’t reported until later may be included.)

Chestnut Hill

March 14. Vandalism of property. Theft from motor vehicle. A complainant parked her car in the unit block of Valley Green Road. When she returned her rear window was broken. Her bag containing an iPhone, keys, and more than $300 worth of goods were stolen.

March 16. Shoplifting. The CVS in the 7700 block of Germantown Avenue was targeted by a repeat offender.

March 18. Shoplifting. Two offenders stole alcohol from a state liquor store in the 8700 block of Germantown Avenue.

March 19. Shoplifting. Retail theft from state liquor store in the 8700 block of Germantown Avenue.

March 20. Vandalism. Theft from motor vehicle. A complainant reported his passenger window smashed and gaming equipment was stolen from the vehicle in the 700 block of Wolcott Drive.

March 22. Motor vehicle theft. A complainant parked their vehicle on East Evergreen Avenue and Ardleigh Street at 5 p.m. The complainant’s car was no longer there at 7 p.m.

Mt. Airy

March 13. Theft. A complainant left their phone in a Lyft service car in the 6700 block of Emlen Street. The driver never returned the phone after communicating with the complainant.

March 16. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant’s vehicle was reported stolen in the 600 block of Glen Echo Road.

March 16. Shoplifting. An offender entered the ACME in the 7000 block of Germantown Avenue, filled a cart, and left without paying.

March 16. Motor vehicle theft. A complainant reported their vehicle stolen in the 100 block of West Upsal Street.

March 17. Shoplifting. A Wawa manager saw an offender who took various items without paying in the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue.

March 17. Shoplifting. An offender stole beer worth $16 from the ACME in the 7000 block of Germantown Avenue.

March 17. Theft from motor vehicle. A complainant left their vehicle unlocked in the 7000 block of Chew Avenue. A blanket and hand sanitizer were stolen.

March 17. Motor vehicle theft. A car parked in the 7100 block of McCallum Street was stolen between 4 a.m. and 6:38 a.m.

March 18. Shoplifting. Offenders stole $100 worth of merchandise from CVS in the 7000 block of Lincoln Drive.

March 18. Shoplifting. An offender entered CVS and filled a bag with cosmetic products and diapers in the 7000 block of Lincoln Drive.

March 19. Shoplifting. An offender entered CVS and the manager observed him leave the store with items in the 7000 block of Lincoln Drive.

March 19. Theft from motor vehicle. A complainant reported that at 6 p.m. her vehicle tag was stolen off her car and replaced with an unknown tag. The car was parked in the 6800 block of Quincy Street.

March 19. Aggravated assault. At a nursing home in the 300 block of West Johnson Street, a complainant was hit with a metal pipe by an offender.

March 19. Motor vehicle theft. A complaint reported a stolen vehicle in the 700 block of Vernon Road. Police were able to recover the vehicle through the complainant’s tracker in the vehicle.

March 20. Motor vehicle theft. A complainant parked her vehicle in front of her home in the 6600 block of Quincy Street. She noticed her vehicle was stolen at 10 a.m. on March 21.

March 21. Shoplifting. At the ACME in the 7000 block of Germantown Avenue, an offender stole $153 worth of merchandise.

March 21. Motor vehicle theft. A complainant said offenders opened the sunroof of her vehicle and took the car in the 200 block of East Gorgas Lane.

March 23. Motor vehicle accessories stolen. A complaint parked her car in the 600 block of West Ellet Street on March 13 and upon returning found all four tires were stolen.

March 23. Shoplifting. An offender stole items totaling $110 from the Bargain Market Grocery Outlet in the unit block of West Hortter Street.

March 23. Motor vehicle accessories stolen. A complainant parked his car on March 23 and when he returned on March 24, all four tires were missing on the 7000 block of Greene Street.

March 23. Motor vehicle accessories stolen. A complaint found her license tag below her vehicle missing in the 6800 block of Wayne Avenue.

March 24. Motor vehicle theft. A complainant parked his car in the 600 block of East Johnson Street in front of his home, but when he returned on March 25 his vehicle was missing.

March 24. Motor vehicle accessories stolen. A complainant’s vehicle was parked on the 6800 block of Wayne Avenue on March 23rd at 4 p.m. After returning on March 24, the vehicle was missing all four of its tires.

March 25. Aggravated assault. A complainant was on his way to a store on Chew Avenue and Washington Lane when an unknown person cut his left forearm.

March 25. Shoplifting. Witnesses saw a thief leave a convenience store in the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue.

March 26. Aggravated assault. A complainant stated an offender stabbed him three times in the arm after a verbal altercation on a basketball court on East Johnson and Morton Streets.

March 26. Aggravated assault. Robbery. Weapons law violations. A complainant was in the 300 block of East Upsal Street when he was cut with a knife and robbed.

March 27. Shoplifting. The Wawa in the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue was robbed by three males.

March 29. Motor vehicle theft. A complainant’s car was stolen in the 100 block of West Sharpnack Street.

March 29. Motor vehicle theft. A complainant’s car was parked outside of his residence and at 6 a.m. the car was no longer there in the 7100 block of Boyer Street.
