The groundbreaking for the Woodmere Art Museum’s new building, the Frances M. Maguire Hall for Art and Education, brought the regional art community’s benefactors and dignitaries out in full force last week. That project is scheduled to be completed in the spring of 2025.

The 27th annual From Bali to US bazaar returned to Germantown Avenue in Chestnut Hill on Saturday with an opening celebration that featured a Balinese dance performance. If you missed it, don’t worry. From Bali to US’s bazaar lasts until Dec. 24, and features a variety of upcoming events, including a Balinese cooking demonstration and a feast on Nov. 16.
