Marthajane (MJ) Robinson died in Austell, GA on December 25, 2014. She was born March 21, 1946, in Wilkes-Barre, PA, the daughter of Mark and Martha Robinson. In 1968, MJ married Weyman Hudgins, whom she met at college. She and Weyman divorced in 1980. She met her second husband, Skip Fleming in 1981, whom she married in 1999. Skip pre-deceased her in 2006. At the time of her death, she was a member of Chestnut Hill Friends (Quakers) Meeting in Philadelphia. Throughout her life MJ pursued many careers, including music (as a singer and choir conductor), chaplaincy, and counseling. In addition, she enjoyed reading, gardening, knitting, and adored cats. Marthajane is survived by her daughter, Lisa Buchanan and her husband, Tom, of Marietta, GA; her son, Benjamin Hudgins and his wife, Susan, of Brooklyn, NY; her brother, John, and his wife, Pat, of Kensington, MD; and her mother-in-law, Elsa Fleming, of East Ampton, NJ. Her cat Skoshi survives as well.
