The Mt Airy Art Garage has cancelled its MAAG Rocks Art Festival on Oct. 7 on the 7000 block of Germantown Avenue between Mt. Airy Avenue and Allens Lane.

“We’re breaking out of our homes and returning with a large celebration of the arts,” said executive director Patricia Smith. “We are getting back on track after the COVID shutdowns and are bringing back clubs, classes and events to the Mt Airy Community.”

The festival runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will include dozens of artists displaying and selling their art, lots of live music including hourly musicians, food vendors, and children's art activities.

MAAG is a member-based organization created to support established and emerging artists in Northwest Philadelphia.
