The following crimes are from the week of Jan. 18 to Jan. 24, 2015.
Jan. 19. unit block of E. Moreland Ave. At 9:45 p.m. complainant went outside and started the car to warm it up. Went back inside and when the person came back five minutes later, the car was gone. 2003 black Chevy Impala. Pennsylvania tag JPL5991.
Jan. 20. 8800 block of Germantown Ave. Complainant was working at above location and left her purse in an unlocked desk drawer in the rear lobby at 12:30 p.m. and at 2:30 p.m. noticed her purse was gone. Complainant called her bank to cancel her card but it had already been used at the Sunoco station at 10 Bethlehem Pike (Chestnut Hill).
Jan. 24. 100 block of Northwestern Ave. Complainant states that an unknown person entered car and took credit cards. They were used at Best Buy. Complainant was notified via alert from his credit card company.
Summary – Three crimes for week: one stolen vehicle, one theft from vehicle and one other theft.
