Crime Report: One vehicle theft, one theft from vehicle and one theft

The following crime report is for crimes reported in Chestnut Hill from Feb. 11 to Feb. 17, 2019.

Feb. 7. Theft on the 400 block of East Abington Avenue. Between Feb. 7 at 4 p.m. and Feb. 12 at 8 a.m., 90 Alprazolam (generic Xanax) were taken from an unsecured office. No video surveillance available.

Feb. 13. Vehicle theft on the unit block of Gravers Lane at approximately 11:30 p.m. A man told police that an unknown person took the keys belonging to his vehicle from inside his home and then took the vehicle.

Feb. 16. Theft from vehicle on the unit block of Valley Green Road between 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. An unknown person broke the passenger side window of a man’s 2013 Infiniti JX35. The items taken include one purse, credit cards, various ID’s and $80 in U.S. cash. The man also told police the thief used his American Express Credit Card in the amount of $436.34.
