The following crime report is for crimes reported in Chestnut Hill from Aug. 20 to Aug. 26, 2018.
Aug. 23. Theft on the 8800 block of Norwood Avenue on Aug. 18 at approximately 12:25 p.m. A woman told police that several contractors were in her home when four blank checks became missing. One check was written for $4,800, paid to a woman and cash. The woman was notified by the bank and closed the account.
