Crime Report, June 21: Legos, AV equipment stolen at Jenks

The following crime report is for crimes reported in Chestnut Hill from June 11 to June 17, 2018.

June 13. Theft from Jenks School, 8301 Germantown Avenue. Officials at Jenks school reported the theft of numerous school supplies. Taken were 46 Lego sets, a Canon digital SLR camera, 3 wireless microphone transmitters, an electric guitar amplifier, various tools and other video equipment. The value of stolen items is estimated to be more than $20,000. School police have been contacted to review security cameras.

June 13. Theft from Vehicle. 700 block of Wolcott Drive.  A driver parked his car, a 2018 Honda Accord, on June 13 and returned on June 18 to find his tires and wheels stolen. Items valued at $1,200.

June 14. Theft from Vehicle, 300 Block of E. Willow Grove Ave. Complainant told police he accidently left his wallet inside his car. When he returned, his wallet still there, but $600 in cash that had been in the wallet was gone.

Summary: Three crimes for the week – one theft, two thefts from vehicle
