Crime Report: Two thefts from vehicles

The following crime report is for crimes in Chestnut Hill from July 3 to July 9, 2016.

July 8. Theft from vehicle. At approximately 8 p.m., on July 7, a woman told police that an unknown person took her iPhone 6 from her vehicle that was parked on the 200 block of East Gravers Lane. The item is valued at $400.

July 9. Theft from vehicle. At approximately 10 a.m. on the unit block of West Abington Avenue, a man told police he may have left his vehicle unlocked and an unknown person entered the vehicle without his permission. The man told police when he came outside he noticed the passenger door was slightly ajar and the glove box was open. Nothing appeared to be missing.

Summary: Two crimes for the week – Two thefts from vehicles.
