Susannah Ratsavong of Wyndmoor was going to vote later in the day, but decided to stop and cast her ballots. “I was going to the bagel place and saw there were no lines. Hopefully, this will be part of a blue wave because I can’t take another four years of Trump in office.
Eileen Gallagher was with her neighbors, Jessica and Peggy McManus of Oreland, who were waiting in line for an hour to cast their ballots. “They had leftover candy and were handing out sample ballots. I’ve never had to really stand in a long line to vote before,” said Gallagher, who was then scheduled to drive voters to the polls in Mt. Airy later in the day.
Voters stood in line for an hour Tuesday morning at the Springfield High School Voting site, while after the initial line of 80 voters at Erdenheim Elementary School there was little to no wait to vote.
