The following crime report is for crimes reported in Chestnut Hill from Feb.
Feb. 16. Theft from vehicle on the 8000 block of Roanoke Street at approximately 8:49 p.m. Owner of vehicle was alerted that an unknown man entered his unlocked 2006 Lincoln Navigator through the right rear door in the parking lot.
Feb. 16. Theft from vehicle on the 100 block of West Northwestern Avenue at approximately 3:30 p.m. A woman discovered an unknown person had smashed the front right window and took the following items from the seat: one green tweed purse ($50), one PA OLN #28214100, one Citizens Bank ATM card, $30 in USC and one silver Macbook Pro laptop ($2,500). The woman contacted Citizens Bank, who told her that her ATM card was used to make purchases at the Target in Roxborough and a Gamestop for a total of $1,500.
Feb. 16. Theft from vehicle at approximately 3:30 p.m. on the 100 block of West Northwestern Avenue. A man parked his vehicle on the 100 block of West Northwestern Avenue and when he returned at 4:40 p.m. He noticed the front left window was smashed and the following items were taken from passenger side foot well: one tan canvas bag ($50) and one silver Macbook Pro laptop ($2,000).
Feb. 17. Theft from vehicle on the 400 block of West Willow Grove Avenue at approximately 9:30 a.m. A man parked his car on the 400 block of West Willow Grove Avenue while he went to watch a game of Cricket. When he returned to his vehicle, he discovered the vehicle's passenger side rear window had been broken and the following items were missing from his vehicle: two backpacks, two duffel bags (2 iPads, one Dell laptop, one Irish passport, one paper U.K. license, 1-pair of Bose headphones, one silver Citizen watch and one gold Citizen watch. The theft occurred between 9:30 a.m. and 10:50 a.m. The items are valued at $3,400.
