The following crimes are from the week of Nov. 30 to Dec. 6, 2014.
Dec. 1. Germantown and Bells Mill Road. At 1:30 p.m. a car was broken into and taken was a Visa card and a PNC card.
Dec. 2. 8126 Germantown Ave.. At 4 p.m., complainant states that she ran into a store and left her car open with her pocketbook on the front seat. Taken was the small brown pocketbook containing a checkbook, debit card, Verizon cell phone, driver's license and prescription glasses.
Dec. 6. 8817 Crefeld St. At 8:30 a.m. the front passenger side window was broken and taken were credit cards and $20 cash. To repair the window it cost $700.
Summary – Three crimes for week: three thefts from vehicles. Do not leave valuables in your car.
