The following crimes are from the week of May 12 to May 18, 2013.
May 12. 800 block Crittenden Street. Complainant states she parked her black 1999 Ford and when she returned she found that someone stole three Balancer tires from her vehicle. Reported at noon.
May 14. 100 block Lynnebrook Avenue. Between 8 a.m. and 6:13 p.m., someone forced open rear kitchen door. Front door was partially open. Person ransacked master bedroom and several closets.
May 16. 300 block W. Northwestern Avenue. Complainant states that someone broke rear window of a 2009 Toyota Corolla and ransacked vehicle. It is unknown at this time if anything was taken. Reported at 9:30 a.m.
May 17. 7700 block Crittenden Street. Complainant states he observed on video someone put various brands of deodorant in her purse and exited store without paying. Offender, black female in her 50's. Offender drove away in a red Neon, Pennsylvania tag JDT0488.
May 18. Valley Green & 7 Valley Green Road. Complainant states that someone broke rear back window of a 2002 BMW and stole an Apple iPad and bag.
May 18. Unit block Laughlin Lane. Complainant states she heard a noise outside of window and saw an unknown male fleeing westbound on Laughlin Lane. Police found marks that appeared to have been made from a crowbar.
Summary: Three thefts from vehicles, one retail theft and two possible burglaries.
