The following crimes are from the week of Jan. 6 to Jan. 13, 2013.
Jan. 7. 400 block W. Moreland Ave. Complainant states he left his briefcase on steps while he was fixing alarm and someone stole it. Taken was briefcase, Dell laptop and a MasterCard.
Jan. 10. 8400 block Germantown Ave. Employee of store states that offender entered store and went to back and put items in a shoulder bag. Offender then left store and went southbound on Germantown Ave. Reported at 1:20 p.m.
Jan. 11. 8800 block Crefeld St. Complainant states the following items were taken from glove compartment of vehicle: a Global Positioning System and car keys.
Jan. 11. 8800 block Crefeld St. Complainant states that between 6 p.m. on Jan. 10 and 10 a.m. on Jan. 11, someone entered a green 2003 Chevy Blazer and ransacked the glove compartment. Driver's side door was found to be unlocked.
Jan. 12. Valley Green at 7 Valley Green Road. Complainant states he parked his silver 20 2013 Ford Escape and someone broke the rear window and stole a black wallet containing driver's license, various credit cards and a health card. Two of the credit cards were used.
Summary – Five crimes for week: two thefts and three thefts from vehicles.
