The Ebenezer Maxwell Mansion, 200 W. Tulpehocken Ave., the only fully restored Victorian house museum and garden in Philadelphia, is presenting Henrik Ibsen’s masterpiece, “A Doll’s House.”
A small audience of 25 will be seated in the Mansion’s parlor with the actors only a few inches away. There will be five performances of “A Doll’s House” — on Friday August 16, 7 p.m.; Aug. 17 at 2 & 7 p.m., and Aug. 18 at 2 & 7 p.m. Reservations are required. Tickets are $30 ($35 for Saturday evening) and may be purchased at 215-438-1861 or ebenezermaxwellmansion.org/a-dolls-house/.
Tickets include champagne and hors d’oeuvres, a special exhibit courtesy of the American Swedish Historical Museum, a tour of the Mansion’s first floor, and the play.
