Join the Friends of the Cresheim Trail this Saturday, Oct. 27, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., for mulled cider and donuts at the organization’s now annual Cider Fest. The event is your chance to ask questions answered about the currently-in-development Cresheim Trail. Other activities include: • Take a hike on a portion of the trail. • Learn how the natural surface segment of the Cresheim Trail got built. • Find out where the Cresheim Trail is headed next. • Learn about opportunities to get involved. • A contest to guess the weight of a pumpkin. If you are right, you get to take it home. • Mini-pumpkin giveaway for the first 20 people under 16 years of age. Cider Fest will convene at the entrance of Cresheim Trail at Lincoln Drive and Allen’s Lane.
