The next meeting of the Water Tower Advisory Committee will be held today, September 14, at 6:30 p.m. at the Water Tower Recreation Center, 209 E. Hartwell Lane in Chestnut Hill. The meeting is open to the public and will feature further discussion on the Water Tower Master Plan. Items on the agenda include discussions on a potential company that can help implement the plan, the creation of two nonprofit groups and the start of the first two proposed projects, which are a veterans memorial site and addressing basement water filtration issues. With the Master Plan beginning to take shape, the committee is encouraging local residents to come out to the meeting and have their voices heard.
