The following crime report is for crimes reported in Chestnut Hill from June 24 to June 29
June 25. Theft from vehicle on the unit block of West Bells Mill Road at approximately 5:30 p.m. The owner told police that an unknown person broke the front and rear passenger window of her 2004 Honda Pilot PA Tag #FJZ-8604. The following items were taken from the vehicle: two sets of car keys, one LG car phone, one pair of glasses, one ring, make-up kit and keys. The owner stated some of the items belonged to her friend. The total value of the items is $1,500.
June 28. Theft from vehicle on the 8100 block of Ardleigh Street. The owner told police that someone ransacked their vehicle when it was parked on the street between June 27 at 6:30 p.m. and June 28 at 7 a.m. The following items were taken from the vehicle: one pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses and a USAA Visa credit card. The items are valued at $150.
June 28. Theft on the 100 block of Bethlehem Pike at nursing home. The executive director of the facility told police an unknown person took one 15 mg tablet of Oxycodone and three 10 mg tablets of Oxycodone. After an internal investigation, LPNs are suspected of taking the medications. The items are valued at $80.
