Several Chestnut Hill businesses will be participating in a fundraiser that will help build a primary school in Malawi, Africa. On Friday, Sept 5, between 3 and 7 p.m., proceeds of sales from Ten Thousand Villages, Taste of Olive and El Quetzal will go towards the cause. Robertson’s Flowers, Iron Hill and Ten Thousand Villages are also donating gift certificates towards a raffle that will take place that night. Seen here is Jacque Maldonado, a Drexel University alumna who organized the effort. More information at jacqs1783@gmail.com.
