Time4Time Community Exchange, a timebank serving Northwest Philadelphia and surrounding suburbs, is celebrating the opening of a satellite center for Springfield Township residents at the Episcopal Church of St. Philip-in-the-Fields, 317 Oreland Mill Rd., Oreland. Time4Time, which started in April, 2013, is an inclusive, community-wide circle of people (150 members) who share skills for time credits instead of money. It’s neighbors helping neighbors. Nonprofit organizations, municipalities, churches, and local businesses can also participate as Community Partners.

“We’re very excited that the Episcopal Church of St. Philip-in-the-Fields is a Community Partner,” said Betsy Wallace, Co-Founder and Member Coordinator for the timebank. “Having the church open its doors to Springfield Township residents as a hub for timebanking activity in Springfield Township is a great boon to the local community.”

The next meeting for Time4Time will be on Friday Nov. 8, 6 to 8 p.m. There will be light fare, wine, hot cider and live music by The Pomponette Fields. More information at Time4TimeXchange@gmail.com or 267-536-5821.
