HIller Pascale Smith wil debut her new CD on June 16 at the Tin Angel.

18-year-old indie/folk artist Pascale Smith of Chestnut Hill will release her debut CD at an all-ages performance at Philadelphia indie music venue Tin Angel on Saturday, June 16. Also appearing will be Judah Salem Kim on vocals and guitar, with an opening act by R&B-influenced singer/songwriter Wyn Rall of Chestnut Hill Academy.

Often compared to female singer/songwriters Regina Spektor and Ingrid Michaelson, Pascale Smith performs her original songs on vocals and guitar throughout Philadelphia at venues such as Milkboy Coffee, The Fire, Jersey Java, Triumph Brewing Company, Perch Pub and The Mermaid Inn.

Her debut album “Safety Net,” produced by Scarlet Oak Sound, is a collection of seven songs with original music and lyrics, including work inspired by early 20th century poet T.S. Eliot.
