The following crimes are from the week of Sept. 6 to Sept. 12

Sept. 7. 8000 block of Seminole Ave. Burglary. Reported at 9:28 a.m. Complaint stated that he went to bed at 11 p.m. on 9/6/15 and woke up at 9 a.m. to find his bike, a black and red Schwinn mountain valued at $300, missing from his backyard. The side window to his house was also broken and a Bose stereo, valued at $300, was taken from the windowsill.

Sept. 8. 8000 block of Winston Road. Theft. Complainant stated that an unknown person took a red and black Norara bicycle valued at $450 that was chained to his house at 9 p.m.

Sept. 9. CVS at 7700 block of Germantown Ave. Theft. Complainant stated that offender, described as a black male between 46-50 years old, attempted to take multiple bottles of bodywash from the store without paying. Complainant stopped the offender before exiting the store. Offender turned over items and left the store.

Sept. 9. 7900 block of Germantown Ave. Theft. Complainant stated that his bike, an Inderio mountain bike valued at $1,000, was stolen from his yard, where it was chained to the fence on 9/7/15 around 12:45 a.m.

Sept. 10. 8100 block of Germantown Ave. Theft from vehicle. Complainant stated that on 9/9/15 at 8 p.m., an unknown person broke the driver’s side front window of his Lexus ES 350 and took four golf shirts of various colors, valued at $300, and $20.00.

Summary – five crimes: three thefts, one theft from vehicle, one burglary.
