The following crimes are from the week of June 9 to June 15, 2013.
June 9. 8000 block Germantown Avenue. Complainant states that an unknown person stole a turquoise green 18-speed bicycle with a black seat and water bottle. Black male, 5'10” tall, wearing a tank top and tan shorts. Occurred at 1:55 p.m.
June 10. 8000 block Stenton Avenue. Complainant states she had a verbal dispute with a black male, Don Monroe, wearing a red, white and blue shirt, bluejeans and white Nike sneakers. Male grabbed her and punched her in left side, causing pain in rib area. Monroe left area and complainant did not call police but went to Albert Einstein Medical Center.
June 14. 7700 block McCallum Street. Complainant states that an unknown person attempted to gain entrance to home by forcing front door open. Entry was not gained due to chain lock and two large dogs barking inside.
Summary – Three crimes for week: one theft, one aggravated assault and one attempted burglary.
