The following crimes are from May 31 to June 8, 2013.
May 31. 8200 block St. Martin’s Lane. Complainant states that an unknown person stole a black Marin bicycle from detached unlocked garage.
June 2. 300 block Northwestern Avenue. Complainant states he put his black backpack down behind a tree and when he returned it was gone. Taken were shoes, black wallet, goggles, Speedos and money.
June 3. 8600 block Germantown Avenue. Complainant states that while she was helping a customer an unknown person went into drawer and stole money. Occurred at approximately 3 p.m.
June 4. 8100 block Ardleigh Street. Complainant states she received a phone call from her roommate at 7:14 p.m. asking her if she left her door open. Complainant states she returned home at 10 p.m. and noticed several items missing. Taken was one MacBook, Serial #WO 0406FVJTAM, one Samsung camera, one pearl ring, one pearl necklace with black pearls. Police were not called right away and when they arrived they did not observe any sign of forced entry.
June 4. Unit block W. Gravers Lane. Complainant states he put his phone down on couch on front porch and when he returned a few minutes later, phone was missing. Police arrived and found male in unit block of Southampton Avenue with phone and a clear baggie with a green leafy substance.
June 5. 100 block E. Bells Mill Road. Complainant states that front door was kicked in but entry was not made because of security lock. Also back rear door was pryed with crow bar. Entry was not made due to large German Shepherd inside.
June 7. 8700 block Germantown Avenue. Complainant states that a black male, 5’7” tall, thin build, short hair, wearing a gray hoodie and bluejeans, attempted to take a bottle of Bacardi rum, berry flavor, but bottle was retrieved before male fled.
Summary – Seven crimes: five thefts and two attempted thefts.
