The following crimes are from the week of Nov. 26 to Dec. 1, 2012.
Nov. 28. Springfield – Wolcott Drive. Complainant states that someone broke the passenger side window of a black 2006 Audi A6 and stole men's clothing, a black leather briefcase, and manuscripts and books. Reported at 1:10 p.m.
Nov. 27. E. Northwestern Ave. Complainant states that someone broke the passenger side front window of a burgundy 2008 Lexus station wagon and stole a turquoise leather purse containing complainant's passport and complainant's husband's passport. Clothing and loose change were also stolen.
Nov. 28. 8600 block Germantown Ave. Complainant states that she put her purse down at 2 p.m. and at 2:10 p.m. she noticed cards were missing.
Nov. 30. 200 block W. Northwestern Ave. Complainant states that after hiking she returned to her black Toyota and found that someone had taken money and a Macy's credit card from the glove compartment.
Summary – Four crimes for week: one theft and three thefts from vehicles.
