The following crime is from the week of Sept. 18 to Sept. 24, 2011.
Sept. 19. Unit block Bethlehem Pike. Between 7:15 a.m. and 3:20 p.m., an unknown person stole a 9 mm black handgun from console in vehicle.
Sept. 20. 100 block E. Northwestern Ave. Complainant states that an unknown person smashed the driver’s side window of a 2011 Buick Lacrosse and stole a white wallet containing credit cards, Pennsylvania driver’s license, iPod and money. Reported at 6 p.m.
Sept. 21. 8600 block Germantown Ave. Complainant states that she parked her 2000 Volvo V40 and an unknown person smashed the passenger side window and stole a purse containing driver’s license, Bank of America and Citibank card.
Sept. 21. 100 block Hilltop Road. Police responded to burglar alarm and found rear door with pry marks. Occurred at 9 a.m.
Sept. 23. 200 block E. Willow Grove Ave. Between 10 p.m. on Sept. 16 and 3 p.m. on Sept. 23, an unknown person stole a 19” Vizio flat screen television set.
Sept. 23. 7 Valley Green Road. An unknown person broke the driver’s side window of a 2006 Saab and stole a GPS, debit card, cell phone and gold earrings. Reported at 10 a.m.
Summary — Six crimes for week: one burglary, one attempted burglary and four thefts from vehicle.
