The following crimes are from the week of October 24 to October 30, 2010.

Oct. 24. 200 block W. Gravers Lane. Complainant states that an unknown person stole an unlocked 26” Trek Mountain Bike.

Oct. 25. Germantown and E. Moreland Ave. Complainant states that while walking, he was app- roached by three males who asked for $2 for bus fare. Complainant took wallet out and males grabbed it and ran. Complainant gave chase but lost them in the woods at Cresheim Valley Road. Taken was money and a  Pennsylvania non driver’s license. Three black males – one was dark skinned,had short hair and was wearing dark baggy pants. Reported at 8:46 p.m.

Oct. 26. 7700 block Winston Road. Complainant gained entry to shed by removing lock and stole one Echo backpack blower, two Redmax backpack blowers and one green Coleman generator.

Oct. 27. 8400 block Germantown Avenue. Complainant states that she observed offender shoplifting orange juice and two dozen eggs. Offender was arrested at Spring Lane and Stenton Ave. Offender and complainant were transported to NWDD. Occurred at 10:30 a.m.

Oct. 28. 100 block Rex Avenue. Complainant states that a black male stole a gray Trek bicycle and baby seat from rear of property. Male, 28 – 30 years old. Occurred at 7 p.m.

Oct. 29. 200 block Benezet Street. Complainant states that she left extra house key in flower pot next to door and an unknown person took the key. Police advised complainant to change locks. Reported at 10 p.m.

Oct. 29. 7900 block Winston Road. Complainant states that an unknown person broke out passenger side window of a 2001 Honda and stole purse containing identification, social security card and house keys. Reported at 12 a.m.

Oct. 30. 100 block Rex Avenue. Complainant states that when he arrived home he noticed garage door lock broken and when he opened garage door he found his gray 1998 Ford 150 Pennsylvania tag YRF8017 missing. Hopkins Roofing was written on side of truck. Truck was parked with keys inside at 4 p.m. on Oct. 29.

Summary — Eight crimes for week: one robbery, one burglary, three thefts, one theft from vehicle, and one stolen vehicle.
