Venice Island performance

Actors (from left) Luz Fernandez-Sheinbaum, Magdalena Becker and Camila Lim will star in “Be careful what you wish for,” Feb. 22 to 25 at the Venice Island Performing Arts & Recreation Center in Manayunk. The show is a part of the annual Winter Sort of Thing! theater education program at Yes! And … Collaborative Arts (YACA), a youth-centered performing arts organization based in Germantown. This year’s show is the story of siblings Prometheus and Abel, who set out on an adventure where they meet mythical animals, divine beings and a new friend, Pandora. Tickets are $2 to $15.
