FavAUrite
A trio of local friends who bonded over their love of jewelry and design — Kristin Carroll, Natalie Quarino, and Stephanie Richards — opened FavAUrite, a lifestyle boutique at 8409 Germantown Ave., on Oct. 3.
The shop’s tagline is “Old and new, from near and far.” FavAUrite carries handcrafted jewelry, home goods, accessories, and other treasures, while jewelry design, consulting, and appraisals are available services.
Carroll has a background in visual merchandising, Quarino is a goldsmith, and Richards is a gemologist. According to the trio, this combination of skills align to “celebrate authenticity, artistry, and the quiet joy of discovery.”
According to Carroll, the first few weeks have been “wonderful.”
“We’ve had a really strong turnout from the community and a lot of great feedback about our space and how it looks and the products we’re carrying,” Carroll said.
The FavAUrite owners also credit the Chestnut Hill Business Association and other nearby business owners for their welcoming spirit.
FavAUrite will host a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, Nov. 7, at 5-8 p.m. with light refreshments.
“We have big plans that we’re working out in the process of being open for two weeks,” Carroll said. “We’re just excited to see all of these ideas and creative endeavors that we have up our sleeve hopefully come to life.”
