I wanted to reach out to you in appreciation for the lovely words you wrote in your article about my brother, Thom. [“Germantown LGBTQ+ icon, film festivals creator, dies at 79,” May 1] It seems the more I read about Thom, the more I learn as well. More than 100 people attended his Celebration of Life and brought a diverse, spirited crowd together, projecting an overflow of kindness. Fascinating just how many lives Thom influenced if just a bit.
