Temple University Hospital has received the 2025 Patient Safety Excellence Award from Healthgrades, placing it among the top 5% of hospitals nationwide for patient safety.

The recognition applies to all Temple University Hospital (TUH) campuses, including Main, Jeanes, Episcopal and Northeastern. This marks the second consecutive year TUH has earned this distinction, improving from its 2024 ranking in the top 10% nationwide.

Temple University Hospital has received the 2025 Patient Safety Excellence Award from Healthgrades, placing it among the top 5% of hospitals nationwide for patient safety.

Healthgrades evaluated risk-adjusted mortality and complication rates at approximately 4,500 hospitals nationwide to determine the awards.

Temple University Health System is a $2.9 billion academic health system that includes numerous healthcare facilities and is affiliated with the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University.
