If I could give you one piece of advice to take home tonight, I would encourage you to see the good in all things. Life will not be easy, life will not be comfortable, but we have ahead of us something far greater than the pain we leave behind. So, look for things in our world that show you God is alive, that He is good and faithful. So, look for things in our world that show you God is alive, that He is good and faithful. These things help keep us rooted in His promises, which last forever, way beyond parking tickets, sickness and death. Earthly comfort does not always mean contentment. If you want lasting satisfaction and peace, your goal in this life must be to delve into and deeply experience God’s goodness. This is a lifelong process that I myself have barely begun.
