Santa and his horses welcome you to the 10th annual Holiday Bazaar at the historic Northwestern Stables on Saturday, Dec. 4 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This fun, family-friendly event is free, and features hand-made crafts and gifts, reindeer games, a Silent Auction and plenty of seasonal food and beverages. For a fee, Santa will pose for professional pictures with you and the horses ($25 for two) and children 5 and older can take a mini-riding lesson with one of the Stables gentle giants, who will be dressed up as a reindeer ($10).
This event is popular and space is limited for both photos and riding, so it is recommended that visitors who are interested reserve their spot in advance on Eventbrite, keyword Northwestern.
Proceeds from this and other events help sustain NWS’s community riding programs as well as maintain the historic property. Our mission is to educate, empower and serve the community through horsemanship, while preserving the equestrian heritage of the Wissahickon Valley. Northwestern Stables, Inc. is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization.
