I’m relieved that the Local seems to oppose AI data centers.
As you said, they use 1.3 million of gallons of water EACH day, which means residents may ultimately lose their water supply and pay steep prices for what is there.
The price of electricity is likely to increase as it has elsewhere.
Pollution will be a problem for the community and asthma rates will rise.
Since many data centers will not succeed, you will have a wasteland of concrete covering precious land … an eyesore no one will want.
I only wish we could convince Gov. Shapiro to stop promoting them.
