Morris Arboretum offers winter discounts through February

The Morris Arboretum & Gardens is offering reduced admission prices through Feb. 28 as part of its winter programming that includes specialized tours of bare trees and the garden's nationally significant witch hazel collection.

Adult admission has been reduced from $20 to $12, while senior tickets are now $11 and youth admission is $6. Children under 3 continue to enter free.

The 92-acre horticultural garden, recently named a 2023 Best of Philly winner, has scheduled several guided winter tours. The "Bare Naked Trees" tour on January 11 will highlight the sculptural forms of deciduous trees without their leaves, showcasing various shapes from weeping to pyramidal specimens.

Two tours of the arboretum's extensive witch hazel collection are planned for February 8 and 22. These winter-blooming shrubs provide unexpected color and fragrance during the coldest months.

The garden maintains regular winter hours of 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily through March, with the last entry at 3 p.m. Weekly wellness walks and garden highlight tours are also available every weekend.

The Morris Arboretum, part of America's Garden Capital network of Philadelphia-area gardens, offers educational programs and conducts botanical research throughout the year.
