Evergreen committee should be for whole community
I can understand the current E. Evergreen Ave. residents’ concerns, yet E. Evergreen has been a narrow street with a bus route for many, many years. A narrow street, along with a bus route, tends to calm traffic.
As for the CHCA’s newly formed committee, such a committee should represent the entire community to allow for diversified input. E. Evergreen is a public thoroughfare, not a private one. A committee of “mostly residents” sounds like a stacked deck.
