Although I am in my 80s and my wife is just a bit younger, neither of us had ever required the services of a hospital.

Then last year, I needed major robotic surgery, and my wife had a life threatening encounter with Lyme disease.

I had the time to do "due diligence" and select a surgical team. A friend's strong recommendation led me to Temple Medical.

My wife had no such luxury of time when a nagging low grade fever suddenly became a "Houston, we have a problem" 911 event and Philadelphia's finest (who proved that they certainly are) escorted her to Chestnut Hill Hospital.

The care at both hospitals was superb, so we were delighted to learn that Dr. Cacciamani had managed to not only preserve Chestnut Hill Hospital but to do it in a way that brings together the talents of the two places that provided us with such exceptional care, and adds to that the specialized features of two more highly-regarded institutions. Thank you, Dr. Cacciamani!
