Letter: An appeal and a challenge

Posted

Dear Neighbors and Friends,

We are in the final days of our Annual Appeal. Drum roll, Please!

On behalf of the Boards of the CHCA and The Local we sincerely thank all of you who have made a donation – especially those who have done so more than once.

To those folks who have not yet contributed, there is still time to do so and we would greatly appreciate your support.

As many of you know, in our 75th Anniversary Year, the CHCA has included the Chestnut Hill Local in the Appeal so that this 65-year-old Chestnut Hill Institution can expand its news and events coverage in our corner of the world.

Our 2023 goal is to raise $200,000. Recently an anonymous donor presented a $25,000 challenge gift to be matched by April 1. If that challenge is successful, it would add an additional $50,000 to the Appeal and get us closer to our goal. Donations of any size are welcomed and appreciated! All gifts work together to provide direct benefits to our community.

Please join your friends and neighbors in this final stretch and invest in the Chestnut Hill community and The Chestnut Hill Local!

You can learn more about our programs and activities and donate online at:

chestnuthill.org or by sending a check to CHCA, 8434 Germantown Ave. Philadelphia, Pa., 19119.

Thank you everyone for your consideration and for your support of our amazing community.

 Sincerely,

 Kathi Clayton

Board President, CHCA
