I have attended and watched several meetings of the Board of Commissioners where Mr. Graham was left to fend for himself as residents attacked his positions as well as him personally for hours. It was very distressing to witness this.
There are a lot of bright, shiny objects put before the people of Springfield lately. The promise of trails and bike paths and the promise of a new "recreation center," surely all are multimillion- dollar cans of worms.
Many would argue that the blue-line flag is the most divisive issue in the township. But I couldn't disagree more. The problem is a culture problem that exists within the Township Administration building. It exists among some, but not all, township employees. It infects some of the elected commissioners. Township promises to build this or that are distractions. Am I worried about the blue line flag? Not as worried as I am about the other red flags that keep popping up. Mr. Graham's resignation is one more red flag. We should pay attention.
