Dead battery, good Samaritan

I want to give a big shout-out to El Limon on Wesley Avenue in Glenside, where I stopped on Nov. 27 to pick up a burrito on my way home.

As I went to leave, my car wouldn't start. As soon as my panic attack was under control, I went in to let them know I'd be leaving the car in front of the store until I got a mechanic to pick it up. 

A wonderful gentleman there asked me to just wait a few minutes, and they'd jump-start it for me. I did wait, and he did jump-start the battery. He would not accept any money, just being helpful. If you're hungry for good Mexican food, please …

What made it more meaningful is the fact that I'm a senior citizen on a very limited income (the burrito is my monthly treat to myself), and I wasn't sure how I was going to pay for a mechanic to come out. His kindness swelled my heart.
