The following is for crimes reported from April 26 to May 2. This report is compiled from information provided by the 14th Police District. (Some crimes that occurred on dates earlier than the current period but were not reported until later may be included.)

Chestnut Hill

April 26. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant reported their Cadillac Escalade was stolen while parked in the 7000 block of Stenton Avenue.

April 26. Theft from Motor Vehicle. A complainant reported their vehicle was broken into from the passenger side window at Orange Trail and West Bells Mills Road.

The following is for crimes reported from April 26 to May 2. This report is compiled from information provided by the 14th Police District. (Some crimes that occurred on dates earlier than the current period but were not reported until later may be included.)

Chestnut Hill

April 26. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant reported their Cadillac Escalade was stolen while parked in the 7000 block of Stenton Avenue.

April 26. Theft from Motor Vehicle. A complainant reported their vehicle was broken into from the passenger side window at Orange Trail and West Bells Mills Road.

April 26. Theft from Motor Vehicle. A complainant returned to the parked vehicle to see the window broken and items stolen from the car in the 9000 block of Orange Trail.

April 26. Retail Theft. An offender put items in a bag and left a grocery store in the 7000 block of Crittenden Street.

April 26. Retail Theft. An offender stole items from a drug store in the 7000 block of Germantown Avenue.

April 26. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant told police their Honda CRV was stolen while parked in the 100 block of West Springfield Avenue.

May 1. Retail Theft. An offender stole $52.47 worth of merchandise from a grocery store in the 7000 block of Crittenden Street.

May 3. Aggravated Assault. A complainant reported that she had an argument with her boyfriend and he threw a speaker at her in the 200 block of East Mermaid Lane.

May 3. Retail Theft. An offender stole items from a grocery store in the 7000 block of Crittenden Street.

May 3. Theft from Motor Vehicle. A complainant reported that an offender broke the vehicle’s rear window and stole a purse from a vehicle in the Valley Green Road and Wissahickon Creek block.

Mt. Airy

April 26. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant reported their Infiniti Q60 stolen while the vehicle was parked in the 400 block of Carpenter Lane.

April 26. All Theft Excluding Vehicle Theft. A complainant had her purse stolen at a party after setting it down under a jacket in the 500 block of East Gorgas Lane.

April 26. Theft from Motor Vehicle. A complainant’s work truck was broken into overnight in the 100 block of West Weavers Street.

April 27. Theft from Motor Vehicle. A complainant reported that tools totaling $4,000 in value were stolen in the unit block of West Johnson Street.

April 27. All Theft Excluding Vehicle Theft. A complainant said a contract company was in his house doing electrical work when he noticed money was missing in the unit block of Montana Street.

April 27. Theft from Motor Vehicle. A complainant told police their vehicle was broken into and a backpack was stolen in the 6000 block of Emlen Street.

April 28. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant reported his Mitsubishi Outlander was stolen while parked in the 6000 block of Chew Avenue.

April 28. Motor Vehicle Theft. The complainant’s wife parked the vehicle in the 6000 block of Wayne Avenue and was stolen overnight.

April 28. Retail Theft. The offenders walked into a convenience store and stole items totaling $120 in the 7000 block of Germantown Avenue.

April 28. Retail Theft. An offender stole merchandise totaling $8 from a Wawa in the 7000 block of Germantown Avenue.

April 28. Theft from Motor Vehicle. A complainant states that a gun left in the glove box of his vehicle was stolen while parked in the 200 block of East Cliveden Street.

April 28. Retail Theft. An offender stole merchandise totaling $7 from a Wawa in the 7000 block of Germantown Avenue.

April 28. Burglary. A complainant said that they just got out of a relationship with the offender. The offender kicked his door to gain entry and began entry into the house in the 1000 block of East Johnson Street.

April 29. Robbery. A complainant told police an offender who is their upstairs neighbor started banging on his front door and arguing with the complainant. The offender entered the complainant’s apartment in the 6000 block of Blakemore Street.

April 30. Aggravated Assault. A complainant is an employee at ACME and told police an offender struck her in the face with the store phone in the 7000 block of Germantown Avenue.

May 1. Theft Excluding Vehicle Theft. A complainant has a video of the offenders stealing items off of the complainant’s porch in the 200 block of Garrett Street.

May 1. Retail Theft. An offender stole $49 worth of product from a grocery store outlet in the unit block of West Hortter Street.

May 1. Retail Theft. An offender stole $135 worth of merchandise from a CVS in the 7000 block of Lincoln Drive.

May 2. Burglary. A complainant and witness told police they observed the offender enter through the property’s front door and watched them remove items from the property into a vehicle. Incident took place in the 500 block of Pelham Road.

May 2. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant states that Honda CRV was stolen while parked in the 200 block of West Gorgas Lane.

May 2. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant parked their vehicle in the 100 block of West Cliveden Street and when they returned they told police the steering wheel column was broken.

May 2. Theft from Motor Vehicle. A complainant said their vehicle had the right side window broken and items stolen from inside the vehicle in the 300 block of West Johnson Street.

May 2. Theft from Motor Vehicle. A complainant reported they came out to their vehicle and noticed the rear passenger side window was broken and items were stolen from inside the vehicle in the 400 block of Carpenter Lane.
