The following is for crimes reported from April 12 to April 19. This report is compiled from information provided by the 14th Police District. (Some crimes that occurred on dates earlier than the current period but were not reported until later may be included.)

Chestnut Hill

April 13. Theft. An offender entered a store and paid for some items in their bag. The offender was arrested on the 7000 block of Crittenden Street.

April 14. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant parked his Jeep Cherokee in the 7000 block of Crittenden Street, and upon returning he found it stolen.

The following is for crimes reported from April 12 to April 19. This report is compiled from information provided by the 14th Police District. (Some crimes that occurred on dates earlier than the current period but were not reported until later may be included.)

Chestnut Hill

April 13. Theft. An offender entered a store and paid for some items in their bag. The offender was arrested on the 7000 block of Crittenden Street.

April 14. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant parked his Jeep Cherokee in the 7000 block of Crittenden Street, and upon returning he found it stolen.

April 14. Theft from Motor Vehicle. A complainant reported that all of the tires were stolen from her vehicle in the 7000 block of Germantown Avenue.

April 16. Burglary. The alleged offender was an ex-employee of the business and used his staff key to enter the mechanical storage area on the 7000 block of Crittenden Street.

April 18. Graffiti and Theft from Motor Vehicle. A complainant reported after she returned from a hike, her passenger’s side window was broken and there were several personal items stolen, in the Gatehouse Lane and McCallum Street block.

April 18. Aggravated Assault. A complainant reported a physical altercation with her ex-boyfriend in the Rex Avenue and Seminole Avenue block.

Mt. Airy

April 6. Theft of Motor Vehicle Accessories. A complainant reported her rear license plate stolen after returning to her car parked in the 6000 block of Wayne Avenue.

April 11. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant reported a Honda CRV stolen from a residence in the 300 block of Gowen Avenue.

April 11. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant reported a Honda CRV stolen from residence in the 600 block of Sedgwick Street.

April 12. Theft of Motor Vehicle Accessories. A complainant reported their license plate was stolen from their vehicle in the 900 block of East Sedgwick Street.

April 12. Robbery. A complainant agreed to sell his PS5 and met the offender at Cliveden Park. The offender showed the complainant a gun and left with the complainant’s PS5 in the 6000 block of Musgrave Street.

April 12. Theft of Motor Vehicle Accessories. A complainant stated that the offender switched the PA tag from her Honda and placed it on her Hyundai in the 1000 block of Yerkes Street.

April 13. Theft. A complainant reported he dropped his wallet outside his vehicle and an unknown offender left with it in the 6000 block of Greene Street.

April 14. Damage of Property and Theft from Motor Vehicle. A complainant reported the passenger side of the vehicle’s window was broken at Kitchen’s Lane and Wissahickon Avenue. Items stolen totaled about $2,000 and repair is estimated to be up to $500.

April 14. Theft. An offender stole items from a CVS in the 7000 block of Lincoln Drive.

April 15. Theft. An offender stole items totaling to $11.43 from a Wawa in the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue.

April 15. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant reported video footage of an unknown offender driving up to complainant’s Jeep Cherokee, unlocking it and driving off with the vehicle in the 700 block of East Sharpnack Street.

April 16. Aggravated assault. A complainant reported an argument with an offender that turned into a physical altercation and complainant had to go to the hospital. The incident occurred in the 400 block of Glen Echo Road.

April 16. Theft. An offender stole a total of $20 from a convenience store in the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue.

April 16. Theft. An offender came into a mini market store and passed by payment checkpoints without paying in the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue.

April 16. Theft. An offender entered a Wawa in the 7000 block of Germantown Avenue and stole $36 worth of products.

April 17. Aggravated Assault. A complainant stated that he got into a physical altercation with the offender and was hit on the right side of the head in the 100 block of East Johnson Street.

April 17. Theft. An offender stole $147 worth of merchandise from a food store in the unit block of West Hortter Street.

April 17. Theft. An offender stole $51 worth of merchandise from a CVS in the 7000 block of Lincoln Drive.

April 17. Theft. An offender stole $37.33 worth of merchandise from a CVS in the 7000 block of Lincoln Drive.

April 17. Aggravated Assault. A complainant reported being assaulted by an offender with a metal part of a leash in the 300 block of East Gowen Avenue.

April 18. Theft. An offender stole items from a retail store in the 1000 block of East Washington Lane.

April 18. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant reported their Jeep Grand Cherokee stolen in the 1000 block of Cardeza Street.

April 18. Aggravated Assault. A complainant reported a fight with an offender who was threatening to kill him with a knife in the 1000 block of Yerkes Street.

April 18. Simple Assault. A complainant reported an incident of domestic violence where the offender struck her in the face in the 6000 block of Greene Street.

April 19. Theft. An offender stole from a mini market in the 7000 block of Germantown Avenue.

April 19. Theft. An offender attempted to purchase cigarettes. When the card declined, the offender left the store without paying in the 7000 block of Germantown Avenue.

April 19. Theft. An offender entered a food store and left the location without paying in the 7000 block of Germantown Avenue.

April 19. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant states their Kia Sportage vehicle was stolen while parked in the 500 block of East Gorgas Lane.
