The following is for crimes reported from April 4 to April 12. This report is compiled from information provided by the 14th Police District. (Some crimes that occurred on dates earlier than the current period but were not reported until later may be included.)

Chestnut Hill

April 5. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant reported their BMW X7 stolen in the 100 block of Summit Street.

April 10. Retail Theft. An offender stole items from a food store in the 7000 block of Crittenden Street.

Mt. Airy

April 4. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant reported her Honda CRV was stolen in the 300 block of Wadsworth Avenue.

April 5. Shoplifting. An offender stole items from the Wawa in the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue.

April 5. Retail Theft. An offender stole merchandise totaling $1,000 in the 7000 block of Lincoln Drive.

April 5. Retail Theft. An offender stole items from a convenience store in the 7000 block of Germantown Avenue.

April 6. Theft from a Motor Vehicle. An offender stole mail and packages from a mail truck in the 100 block of Pleasant Street.

April 6. Retail Theft. An offender stole items from a food store in the 7000 block of Germantown Avenue.

April 7. Retail Theft. An offender stole up to $130 of merchandise from a drug store in the 7000 block of Lincoln Drive.

April 7. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant reported his parked truck was stolen in the 7000 block of Germantown Avenue.

April 9. Assault. A complainant reported getting into a verbal argument before an offender swung a knife in her direction, causing physical harm in the 300 block of Vernon Road.

April 10. Theft of Motor Vehicle Parts. A complainant stated that an offender stole her license plate from her vehicle. The incident took place in the 700 block of East Sharpnack Street.

April 10. Theft from Motor Vehicle. A complainant claimed an offender gained entry to her car and stole personal items in the 100 block of East Upsal Street.

April 11. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant stated her Honda CRV was parked, secured, then stolen on the 100 block of West Gowen Avenue.

April 11. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant stated his Honda CRV was stolen in the 400 block of West Sedgwick Street.

April 11. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant’s Honda CRV was stolen from a residence in the 300 block of East Gowen Avenue.

April 11. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant parked a Honda CRV in front of their residence. Upon returning, the vehicle was missing in the 600 block of West Sedgwick Street.

April 11. Retail Theft. An offender stole various items from an ACME in the 7000 block of Germantown Avenue.

April 11. Theft from Motor Vehicle. A complainant reported an offender broke into his vehicle and stole 36 power tools in the 6000 block of Chew Avenue.

April 11. Theft of Motor Vehicle Parts. A complainant reported the license plate was stolen from their Hyundai Elantra in the 1000 block of Yerkes Street.

April 11. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant has video evidence of the stolen Honda Accord parked in the 6000 block of Crittenden Street.

April 12. Theft of Motor Vehicle Parts. A complainant states their license plate was stolen from their vehicle in the 900 block of East Sedgwick Street.

April 12. Theft. A complainant agreed to sell his PS5 and met the offender at Cliveden Park. The offender showed the complainant a gun and left with the complainant’s PS5 in the 6000 block of Musgrave Street.​
