May 29. Theft. A resident at the Fairview nursing home in the 100 block of Bethlehem Pike said she placed $36 in her Bible and when she went to retrieve it, the money was gone.
May 31. Theft. Police responded to NoName Gallery following a report that an offender stole artwork on a table outside the business.

The following is for crimes reported from June 1 to June 8.
Chestnut Hill
May 29. Theft. A resident at the Fairview nursing home in the 100 block of Bethlehem Pike said she placed $36 in her Bible and when she went to retrieve it, the money was gone.
May 31. Theft. Police responded to NoName Gallery following a report that an offender stole artwork on a table outside the business.
June 2. Robbery. A witness at the Citizen’s Bank in the 8600 block of Germantown Avenue told police that an offender entered the bank and handed the witness a note that read “Give me the money.” The witness placed cash on top of the counter and the offender said, “All large if possible” and then grabbed the cash and left.
June 3. Shoplifting. A man walked out of the Homeworks in the 8100 block of Germantown Avenue without paying for items.
June 5. Vandalism. A complainant in the 7600 block of Stenton Avenue told police that her car window was broken and an iPhone was missing.
June 6. Shoplifting. An offender stole items from the ACME Market in the 7700 block of Crittenden Street.
June 6. Shoplifting. An offender at the ACME in the 7700 block of Germantown Avenue stole 46 containers of body lotion and was uncooperative while he was being arrested.
June 6. Robbery. A complainant in the 8000 block of Germantown Avenue told police that she was confronted by a woman with a gun who demanded the group’s cell phones, passwords, and cash and then took off, but the offender was apprehended on Germantown Avenue.
June 6. Theft. A complainant reported to police that an offender entered their car in the 100 block of West Willow Grove Avenue and took items valued at $180.
June 8. Shoplifting. A manager at the CVS in the 7700 block of Germantown Avenue reported that an offender took miscellaneous items valued at $30 without paying for them.
Mt. Airy
May 19. Shoplifting. A man at the Wawa in the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue distracted a worker by asking about a Wawa gift card and then snatched a pack of cigarettes.
May 30. Theft. A woman in the 500 block of Carpenter Lane reported that an offender took between $350 and $400 from her cash lock box.
June 1. Theft. An offender took chips, candy and pistachios from the Wawa in the 7200 block of Germantown Ave.
June 1. Aggravated Assault. Complainant told police that he was getting out of an offender's black Honda Accord in the 200 block of East Upsal when he was stabbed in the butt. Complainant was transported to Albert Einstein Medical Center.
June 3. Shoplifting. A male offender stole food valued at $40 from the Wawa in the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue.
June 4. Shoplifting. Offenders came into a grocery store in the unit block of West Hortter Street, filled a black school bag with items and then sprayed $274 worth of products with shaving cream before they left the store without paying for the items.
June 4. Shoplifting. Various items were taken from the CVS in the 7000 block of Lincoln Drive.
June 4. Burglary. While police were looking for an offender regarding an earlier theft, the officers observed a broken basement window with traces of blood on a house in the 7000 block of Cresheim Road. Police searched the property and found the offender hiding in a closet wearing the clothes of the house’s owner.
June 5. Motor vehicle theft. A man parked his car in the 7100 block of Devon Street and when he returned to get in the car, the vehicle was gone.
June 5. Shoplifting. A manager at the Wawa in the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue reported that a male entered the store, took items and left without paying for them.
June 6. Burglary. A man in the unit block of Pleasant Street reported that his Ring camera recorded an unknown male forcing entry into a property and walking around the house, while recording conditions in the property. The incident is part of an ongoing dispute with a landlord.
June 6. Aggravated Assault. A woman in the unit block of East Cliveden Street reported that she was in an altercation regarding a relationship and living arrangements when the man swung her around by grabbing her arm, swung a gun near her head and pushed her into and through a wall.
June 7. Theft from motor vehicle. A complainant told police that a backpack, laptop and sunglasses were taken from their car parked in the 200 block of West Upsal Street.
June 8. Shoplifting. Toothpaste and floss valued at $49 were stolen from the CVS in the 7000 block of Lincoln Drive.
June 8. Shoplifting. Makeup, body wash, shampoo and conditioner valued $1,300 were stolen from the CVS in the 7000 block of Lincoln Drive.
June 8. Motor vehicle theft. A man parked his car in the 100 block of East Upsal Street and when he went to retrieve it, the car was gone.
June 8. Motor vehicle theft. A complainant reported to police that his car parked near the intersection of East Phil Ellena and Sprague Street was stolen from the location. The vehicle was later involved in an auto accident. One offender was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center and the other to Northwest Detectives headquarters.
June 8. Aggravated Assault. Police were called to Chestnut Hill Hospital to investigate a gunshot victim with a wound in the right leg. The victim told police that the incident occurred outside his house in the 100 block of West Weaver Street, but would not reveal additional information.
June 8. Theft. A woman in the 6700 block of Emlen Street who had been living with her boyfriend for three weeks got into a disagreement over cheating allegations and the boyfriend took “the Obama Phone” cell phone that he had given her and then punched her in the back of the head.
June 8. Motor vehicle theft. A woman in the 100 block of West Durham Street reported that her husband told her their vehicle was missing.
