Chestnut Hill
April 26 Theft. A woman reported that her watch went missing after taking it off to wash her hands in the staff bathroom of an apartment building on the 300 block of East Willow Grove Avenue.
April 30 Theft from motor vehicle. After parking on the 8300 block of Germantown Avenue, a complainant returned to her car to find the car door open with items, including gift cards, stolen from the vehicle.

Chestnut Hill
April 26 Theft. A woman reported that her watch went missing after taking it off to wash her hands in the staff bathroom of an apartment building on the 300 block of East Willow Grove Avenue.
April 30 Theft from motor vehicle. After parking on the 8300 block of Germantown Avenue, a complainant returned to her car to find the car door open with items, including gift cards, stolen from the vehicle.
May 4 Theft from motor vehicle. A woman reported her mother’s car, which she borrowed, was broken into while parked in the Acme parking lot on the 7700 block of Crittenden Street. Items, including a cell phone and a laptop, were stolen from the vehicle.
May 6 Shoplifting. An offender left the wine and spirits store, located on the 8700 block of Germantown Avenue, with merchandise they did not pay for.
May 7 Theft from motor vehicle. A woman reported having her car broken into while parked on the 800 block of Wolcott Drive. Items, including cash, a driver’s license and a purse, were stolen.
Mt. Airy
April 30 Aggravated assault. A woman reported being punched in the head twice before being held at gunpoint by an offender on the 100 block of West Upsal Street. Witnesses were able to restrain the offender.
May 1 Motor vehicle theft. A woman reported her car being broken into while parked on the 700 block of East Upsal Street.
May 1 Shoplifting. An unknown person was witnessed leaving the CVS, located on the 7000 block of Lincoln Drive, and leaving with items they did not pay for.
May 1 Theft from motor vehicle. A woman reported her car being rummaged through while it was parked on the 7200 block of Allens Place. Nothing was stolen.
May 3 Burglary. A man returned to his home on the 700 block of West Allens Lane to find items, including a firearm and bottles of alcohol, missing.
May 3 Theft. A complainant reported a package being stolen from her front step, located on the 200 block of East Sharpnack Street.
May 3 Motor vehicle theft. A woman reported her car door being pried open while it was parked on the 6600 block of Sprague Street. A jacket was stolen and the steering column was broken.
May 3 Burglary. Police responded to a burglary alarm on the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue. Upon arrival, they noticed the back door open and a third-floor window broken.
May 5 Theft from motor vehicle. A man returned to his vehicle, which was parked on the 700 block of Phil Ellena Street, to find the rear window shattered and the ignition system broken.
May 5 Theft from motor vehicle. A woman returned to her vehicle, which was parked on the 300 block of East Gowen Avenue, to find items, including jewelry and cash, stolen from inside.
May 6 Rape. A woman reported being walked home by a man after a party before falling asleep in her driveway. She woke up with him with his pants down on top of her. The incident occurred on the 400 block of Slocum Street.
May 6 Carjacking. A man reported having his car, which had a tracking device, stolen while making a delivery to the unit block of East Church Lane in Germantown. Police tracked the car, which was recovered, to the 1000 block of West Allens Lane and apprehended all three carjackers.
May 7 Theft from motor vehicle. A woman returned to her vehicle, which was parked on the 6600 block of Sprague Street, to find the rear window shattered and the steering column broken.
