Chestnut Hill
Dec. 6 Theft. A complainant who left her purse in her apartment on the 8600 block of Germantown Avenue while a maintenance man was removing an air conditioning unit noticed $1,100 missing from the purse when she returned.
Dec. 9 Theft of motor vehicle parts. A complainant reported having the catalytic converter stolen from their car while it was parked on the unit block of West Highland Avenue.

Chestnut Hill
Dec. 6 Theft. A complainant who left her purse in her apartment on the 8600 block of Germantown Avenue while a maintenance man was removing an air conditioning unit noticed $1,100 missing from the purse when she returned.
Dec. 9 Theft of motor vehicle parts. A complainant reported having the catalytic converter stolen from their car while it was parked on the unit block of West Highland Avenue.
Dec. 10 Motor vehicle theft. A complainant reported his car getting stolen from the 7600 block of Germantown Avenue after he left the vehicle running with the keys inside.
Dec. 11 Shoplifting. A complainant caught an offender leaving the CVS, located on the 7700 block of Germantown Avenue, with skin care and dental items they did not pay for.
Mt. Airy
Nov. 21 Motor vehicle theft. A complainant reported his car being stolen from the corner of Lincoln Drive and McCallum Street. It was parked there after it had broken down.
Nov. 29 Theft. A complainant reported a package being stolen from her building, located on the 600 block of West Cliveden Street.
Dec. 3 Theft of motor vehicle parts. A complainant reported having the catalytic converter stolen from their car while it was parked on the 600 block of West Johnson Street.
Dec. 4 Theft of motor vehicle parts. A complainant reported having the catalytic converter stolen from their car while it was parked on the 500 block of West Hortter Street.
Dec. 4 Aggravated Assault. A complainant was punched in the back by an offender during a dispute about helping with bills in the 200 block of E. Cliveden St. A witness, who was the complainant’s grandfather, pulled a gun on the offender in retaliation. During a struggle for the firearm, the gun went off.
Dec. 5 Theft. A complainant reported catching a man stealing ladders and putting them in a white van on video on the unit block of East Johnson Street.
Dec. 6 Theft from motor vehicle. A complainant reported their car being ransacked while parked on the unit block of West Hortter Street. The window was smashed and items, including checks, cash and identification, were stolen.
Dec. 7 Theft of motor vehicle parts. A complainant reported having the catalytic converter stolen from their car while it was parked on the unit block of Gowen Circle.
Dec. 7 Shoplifting. A complainant reported a man stealing three bottles of liquor from the wine and spirits store located on the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue.
Dec. 8 Theft. A complainant reported two packages being stolen from her building, located on the 300 block of West Johnson Street.
Dec. 10 Robbery. A complainant reported being approached by two offenders at 11:35 p.m. who demanded his car keys and anything else the complainant had on him after parking his car on the 6700 block of McCallum Street. The offenders fled on foot with the keys, a wallet, a laptop, an iPhone and other items.
Dec. 10 Shoplifting. A security guard at a Wawa, located on the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue, reported a man leaving the store with cigarettes, candy and a drink he didn’t pay for.
