Celebrating her 102nd birthday with her family on Feb. 16 is Lucy Nemetz, a resident at Spring Mill Pointe, a senior living community in Lafayette Hill where she has lived since 2023. Prior to that, Nemetz lived nearby in Green Manor Valley Apartments for eight years and before that with her husband, Joe, in Fort Washington for more than 50 years. Born in Wilmington, Del., Nemetz and her brother, Albert, were raised on a mushroom farm in Kennett Square, Chester County.
