As a former used bookstore owner, I doubt that the Chestnut Hill Library Friends new bookstore will ever financially benefit our branch library. But if the store manages to meet overhead and labor costs, I would consider that a financial success. I miss getting lost among the volumes at “Walk a Crooked Mile” bookstore in the Mount Airy train station run by Greg Williams and exiting with a few gems. In 2021, I very much look forward to getting lost again, even closer by!
