The Save the Train Coalition will host a multi-site concert May 16 along the Chestnut Hill West Line that the group is working hard to save from being cut by SEPTA.

At 5 p.m., cellist Dani Hawkins will perform at Chelten Station. Then the concert-goers will hop on the Chestnut Hill West for a 5:30 performance by Hawkins and string ensemble Midnight on the Water at Tulpehocken Station.

Next up, everyone will ride to Carpenter Lane Station, where Koof & Friends will perform at 6:20 p.m. All concerts will be in the parking lots of each station. Attendees are encouraged to bring food and drink for a post-concert picnic at EcoLab next to the Carpenter Lane Station.
