Chestnut Hill College senior Regina Trabosh, a graduate of Mount St. Joseph Academy, has been named the 2017 recipient of the college's Athletic Director's Award, which is presented annually to one male and one female athlete.
The Griffins' mainstay at the position of libero in volleyball, Trabosh earned All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference honors in all four seasons she played at Chestnut Hill, and was named CACC Defensive Player of the Year in 2015. She's the all-time leader for the CHC program in a number of statistical categories, including total digs (2535) and digs per set (5.75 avg.). The daughter of George Trabosh, the longtime head coach at Mount St. Joseph's, Trabosh earned a place on the CHC Athletics Academic Honor Roll and on the Dean's List in all eight of the semesters she spent at the college.
